Jules Girault - "Distinction" English Roundhand

"There is virtually no information available on Jules Girault, other than he was an master of calligraphy & engraving in Paris circa 1843–75. He was fairly prolific having produce 3 or 4 of his own books as well as engraving the works of other noted contemporary Parisian calligraphers such as J.B. Silvestre. Girault's letterfoms (sic) are excellent, but it's his flourishing that is over-the top; the best I've ever seen. I'm still trying to find more information on Girault. Here's an example of Girault's English Roundhand work."
