Astronomy - Milky Way - English Roundhand
"The faint glowing band in our night sky called The Milky Way is actually a view of our own spiral Galaxy seen edge on and from within (since we are inside this galaxy). Our Galaxy contains about 300 billion Stars, of which our Sun is but one. If you could travel at the speed of light it would take 100,000 years to fly from one end to the other. Looking towards Sagittarius, the orangish glowing area to the lower left, is our Galactic Center which conceals a Black Hole.
I thought our own Galaxy deserved some exuberant & somewhat elaborate caps. The rest of the flourishing & design revels the natural spiral nature of the English Roundhand style"
