But unlike English Roundhand, which has dozens of forms of \"r,\" Spencerian uses 2 basic types (and a third variant when appearing as a final which I will show tomorrow). This presentation shows those 2 basic types. The one to the left is by far the most common, however the one to the right is a common alternate.
