The striking blue to pale green color range is a result of its copper content. If you like turquoise beware of purchasing phony turquoise. more abundant and cheaper howlite is sometimes dyed blue to pass for turquoise.

The cap T is my own design following the principles of English-Italian Hand. To make a cap more ornate English-Italian Hand sometimes used knot-work in place of a main stroke, as with the cross of this T."
