Minerals - Wulfenite - English Italian Hand

"Wulfenite was named in honor of Franz von Wulfen, an Austrian mineralogist. Wulfenite is Lead Molybate and is found as a secondary mineral in lead deposits where molybdenum is present. Wulfenite is toxic, so should be handled with care. I keep mine in a small, clear plastic cube. Though not the bright red or orange color most prized by collectors, this specimen in my collection does possess nice crystal formation and beautiful luster.

The most unique aspects of this Italian Hand piece are the uncommon, old-style "f," and the stubby French-style 't.'"
