ABCs - "Q" is for Quill

"I've posted a couple examples of Church Text back at the end of September (Photos > Lettering Art 2 > "history"). Church Text has so many diverse variations I think I will do a series on this style too.

This cap C, shows how by the end of the Victorian period this blackletter-based letterform was stylized into virtual illegibility. Despite this it is quite readable in context and makes for some beautiful & interesting design compositions."
