Ampersand - German - Joyful & Simple

"Though not the most legible ampersand ever created, I find the shape sensuous & graphically pleasing. I found it in a 17th c. German document by an unknown scribe demonstrating his Italian running hand style. While the scribe's hand was anything but "joyful & simple, that is the feeling I get from the shape of this odd little ampersand."
