Birthday Wish - Ed Bunch 2011
"
Happy Birthday Ed! I value your friendship and appreciate all you have taught me.
The style is a historic style the English called "Italian Hand." But as I've mentioned in other posts, I think it is more accurate to referred to the style as "English-Italian Hand." Popular from about 1700 to the mid-1800s, I've always loved this style. I thought the light, elegant forms and circular flow were perfect for reflecting Tai Chi. Also the E & d seem to face each other and interact as if they were doing Push Hands, the E advancing and the d redirecting."
