Court Hand

"I have mentioned and displayed many historic specialized writing styles. Here is yet another called Court Hand. Originating as a medieval alphabet used in English courts of law, it was used for records, deeds, charters and so on. Its use spread to the associated fields of lawyers and clerks and over time was stylized to the point of illegibility, so much so it is said to have been banned in 1731. Despite that examples could still be commonly found in writing manuals up till about 1800. I've taken the liberty of dressing this rendition up into a display face. Oh, and to save you from pulling out your hair, it says "Court Hand."
