Minerals - Kyanite - English Italian Hand

"Kyanite is not particularly rare but few people are familiar with it. Kyanite's crystals grow in long shards and possess a unique shade of blue with a silvery sheen. It is occasionally used in jewelry, but being so unique I'm surprised it is not seen more often.

In English-Italian Hand the K, as is usual with script styles caps, provided the best opportunity to dress up the design. I also utilized a French form of "t" as the English scribes occasionally did. I decided to place the focus on the flourishing to create a sort of nimbus enclosing the word, with a space left for placement of the kyanite specimen."
