Lettera Rognosa
"For comparison with yesterday's post… This less fancy version of Lettera Rognosa is in Palatino's style (c. 1540), the earliest example of this hand I've found. For the next 100 year or so variations of Rognosa became more common as show pieces in the collections of scribe's. Though I have a "short s" for this hand I have used the oldstyle "long s" for historical accuracy (plus it looks nicer). All the l/c characters are standard Palatino, the "R" is my own design, though following Palatino's habits."
