"Another of the 5 letters I did for the Millcraft Paper Co. alphabet poster (also see "Cadel P" in Photos / Lettering Art). Lignomorphic (rustic wooden) lettering styles like this were extremely popular in America from the mid-1800s through about 1910. The style was used for titling on everything: sheet music, school books, posters, even diplomas."
