Minerals - Moldavite - English Script

"Moldavite is another type of tektite (meteoric glass). Named for the Czech town of Moldauthein where it is found, it's also found in Germany & Austria. Moldavite is a unique green natural glass believed to be formed by the impact of a meteor 15 million years ago in western Bavaria. Moldavite was created from the splash of molten material thrown into the air by the huge meteoric impact, cooling to glass as it fell back to Earth.

The cap M's in English-Italian Hand, as in other English Roundhands, can get quite exotic. The trailing spiral flourishes seemed to appropriately imply meteoric tails. The flourish on the e was a common final flourish used on all characters and styles of classic English scripts."
