Minerals - Unakite - English-Italian Hand

"Unakite has become fairly popular in jewelry craft within the past 20 years, and for obvious reasons; Its a durable, colorful & dramatic stone that polishes nicely. A form of granite, unakite is composed of green epidote, pink feldspar and quartz. — Nothing especially unique in this example of English-Italian hand, so I I tried to fancy-up the U slightly. Also, a simple flourish that was commonly employed in both English Roundhand and English-Italian Hand that I alway loved was the swelled horizontal terminal flourish. This was a trick borrowed from older French scripts styles. "
